What do Rangers wear?
Rangers is part of the Girlguiding family; so our uniform is an important part of our identity as a group. Please keep reading to find out about what Harvington Rangers wear. Most of our uniform can be bought from the Girlguiding online shop, we do encourage our members to also look for second-hand options such as on Vinted. We don't want there to be any barriers to our Rangers being in uniform, please let us know if you need any help purchasing uniform and we will be able to offer support.
Our Necker
Our Necker
The necker is a key element of our uniform and it is important our Rangers wear it to every meeting, trip and event. Harvington Rangers will receive a necker when they join us and only need to purchase a replacement one if they loose it. Replacement neckers are £7.00.
Rangers can either tie their woggle with a friendship knot or use a woggle. If a woggle is preferred, please choose one of the below options in 'Royal Blue'.

Our Rangers can wear either a Rangers shirt, polo or a Young leader polo if they are also a young leader. You can find out more about young leading here. Badges can be sewn onto tops or jumpers.

Our Rangers wear their promise badge and other metal badges, such as the commonwealth award or young leader badge, on a badge tab. This not only helps us to look smart but protects our uniform! Rangers can wear either the Ranger badge or the Young leader badge tab.
Jumpers

Rangers have a few jumper options to choose from. They can wear either a Ranger or Young leader hoodie or a Harvington Rangers sweatshirt/Hoodie. The zipped hoodies can be purchased from the Girlguiding shop. Many Rangers prefer our own unit sweatshirt/hoodie and these can be purchased below.
Bottoms
Bottoms
Rangers can wear whatever bottoms they would like, including our own unit leggings! All we ask is that for formal occasions, eg. parades, Rangers wear smart black or navy skirts or trousers.
